14 August 2006 – Sunshine Coast Airport Master Plan (draft report).

Maroochy Shire Council recently appointed a firm of consultants to assist in the preparation of a draft Master Plan for the Sunshine Coast Airport. The resultant report has been the subject of considerable public scrutiny for the last two months. Development Watch believes that the expansion of the airport runways that are proposed are unsubstantiated and unnecessary. Public submissions on the draft proposal closed on 14th August, 2006.
