The 5th annual Symphony by the Sea
Development Watch raises funds to pursue its aim of preventing inappropriate development in the Coolum area.
Each year, we bring the Sunshine Coast Symphony Orchestra to Coolum to entertain residents and visitors with an afternoon of light classical music.
This year's concert is at our usual venue, the Coolum Civic Centre and will be held on 16 July 2011 at 2:00pm.
The event is our fifth annual "Symphony by the Sea" concert.
The Sunshine Coast Symphony Orchestra is a group of enthusiastic musicians and supporters, who are committed to bringing quality classical and contemporary music to the people of the Sunshine Coast.
Founded in 1972 by the late Olive Frame, the Orchestra is now in its 39th concert season.
The members range from professional and semi-professional to highly skilled amateur musicians.
The afternoon will be filled with wonderful music performed by exceptional musicians. Hear music from stage and screen plus light classical works. This is an event not to be missed!
